5281230 Plumber - Social Housing

Base Location: Rotherham, UK
Salary: £14.50 – £17.50 per hour (PAYE only)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch)

THE ROLE :
The Plumber will be responsible for delivering high-quality reactive maintenance and repairs within occupied social housing properties. You will ensure all plumbing work is completed efficiently, safely, and to an excellent standard, representing the company with professionalism and respect for tenants at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance on domestic wet systems, copper and plastic pipework.
  • Undertake minor multi-trade tasks as required (e.g. replacing taps, refitting bath panels, basic tiling or joinery).
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
  • Complete required documentation and job records accurately and on time.
  • Comply with all health and safety procedures, policies, and company standards.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional manner at all times.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing (Level 3 desirable).
  • Current, valid UK driving licence.
  • CSCS card – Plumbing (essential).
  • Basic DBS check (required prior to start).
  • Proven experience working in domestic or social housing environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
