ROLE: Assistant Site Manager

PAY RATE: £ 220 per day CIS basis

JOB TYPE: 6 Months contract

LOCATION: Lydney, UK (GL15)

HOURS: 40 hours per week - 08:00 AM to 17:00 PM

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities and contractors.
  • Support the delivery of property maintenance, refurbishment and improvement works.
  • Monitor works across kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, PV, IWI, EWI and property repairs.
  • Assist in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with required standards.
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors and relevant stakeholders to support the smooth delivery of works.
  • Monitor progress and raise any issues, delays or site concerns to the relevant management team.
  • Support site inspections and ensure work areas are maintained in a safe and organised condition.
  • Assist with maintaining health and safety standards across the site.
  • Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant safety procedures and requirements.
  • Support the Site Manager with general site administration and coordination duties as required.

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
  • CSCS Card certification
  • First Aid certification
  • SMSTS certification
  • Fire Marshal certification
  • Asbestos Awareness certification
  • Previous experience working in a Site Management / Assistant Site Management capacity.
  • Experience within property maintenance, refurbishment, repairs or similar construction environments.
  • Experience working with or overseeing contractors and site-based activities.
  • Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple site activities and ensure works progress effectively.
