ROLE: Building Fabric Engineer
JOB TYPE: 2 Months contract

HOURS: 40.00 hours per week - 08:00 AM to 17:00 PM
Major Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
- Complete painting and decorating works.
- Repair and replace doors, locks, hinges and handles.
- Carry out general handyman and maintenance tasks.
- Identify and repair building defects.
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete jobs within agreed timescales.
- Follow site health & safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional approach when working within a hospital environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Previous experience as a Building Fabric Engineer, Handyperson, Maintenance Operative, Fabric Engineer or similar.
- Good practical knowledge of general building repairs and maintenance.
- Experience in painting/decorating and ironmongery.
- Ability to carry out a range of general maintenance tasks.
- Standard DBS required.
- Good understanding of health & safety.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Desirable skill: Previous hospital/healthcare maintenance experience - preferred but not essential.
