Base Location: Manchester, UK.
Salary: £26.00 per hour Umbrella
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday


THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works in line with current regulations and company standards.
  • Replace consumer units and install final sub-circuit wiring.
  • Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and complete remedial works.
  • Replace sockets, switches, light fittings, and extractor fans following manufacturer instructions.
  • Conduct inspection, testing, and complete relevant certification (EICR, EIC, Minor Works).
  • Ensure all work complies with statutory regulations, BS 7671, and SHEQ requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship and aim for first-time fix wherever possible.
  • Maintain professional customer service and liaise with clients and head office as required.
  • Manage materials and complete all job documentation accurately and on time.
  • Take responsibility for company tools, van, PPE, and ensure work areas are left clean and safe.

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a qualified Electrician in installation, maintenance, and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of current wiring regulations (BS 7671).
  • Competent in inspection, testing, and electrical certification (EICR, EIC, Minor Works).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
