PAY RATE: £23.00 – £26.00 per hour (Umbrella)
CONTRACT TYPE: Ongoing Contract
LOCATION: Manchester area
WORKING PATTERN: Full-time, Monday to Friday
VAN PROVIDED: Yes - home to business use only
THE ROLE:
The Joiner will carry out a wide range of joinery repairs and maintenance works in line with statutory regulations, company policies, and SHEQ requirements.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship, ensuring first-time fixes wherever possible, and maintaining excellent customer service standards across all sites. The role requires professionalism, strong health & safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Replacement and rehanging of internal and external doors
Repair and replacement of locking mechanisms
Repair/replace kitchen units and worktops
Repair/replace floors and carcassing
Repair/replace UPVC and aluminium windows and doors
Installation of skirtings, architraves, and capping
Studwork, staircases, and roof timber repairs
Ensure compliance with specifications and workmanship standards
Maintain tools, van, and equipment in good condition
Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner
Liaise with clients, consultants, and head office as required
Maintain clean and tidy working areas
Follow all Health & Safety, SHEQ, and company procedures
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Up-to-date industry knowledge and relevant joinery experience
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
Excellent organisational skills
Professional and customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and within a team
Full, clean UK driving licence
