PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour PAYE OR £16.00 Umbrella

JOB TYPE: Contract - 3 Months

LOCATION: Belfast & County Antrim (Various Sites), (BT15)

HOURS: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday


THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:
  • Perform general joinery work including installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Replace and repair doors, windows (UPVC/aluminium), and locking systems.
  • Install and repair kitchen units, worktops, flooring, and timber structures.
  • Carry out work on skirting boards, architraves, staircases, and roof timbers.
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a “first-time fix” approach wherever possible.
  • Use tools and materials safely and effectively.
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and tidy after completing tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
  • Coordinate materials and complete required job documentation accurately.
  • Liaise with clients, supervisors, and internal teams when required.
  • Take responsibility for company vehicle, tools, and site access (keys).

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
  • Proven experience in joinery/carpentry roles.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety regulations.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (full and clean).
  • Strong practical skills in general joinery tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
