PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour PAYE OR £16.00 Umbrella

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Perform general joinery work including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Replace and repair doors, windows (UPVC/aluminium), and locking systems.
- Install and repair kitchen units, worktops, flooring, and timber structures.
- Carry out work on skirting boards, architraves, staircases, and roof timbers.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a “first-time fix” approach wherever possible.
- Use tools and materials safely and effectively.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and tidy after completing tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
- Coordinate materials and complete required job documentation accurately.
- Liaise with clients, supervisors, and internal teams when required.
- Take responsibility for company vehicle, tools, and site access (keys).
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
- Proven experience in joinery/carpentry roles.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Valid UK Driving Licence (full and clean).
- Strong practical skills in general joinery tasks.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
