PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour PAYE OR £16.00 Umbrella
JOB TYPE: Contract - 3 Months
LOCATION: Belfast & County Antrim (Various Sites), (BT15)
HOURS: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Support tradespeople such as plumbers, electricians, and joiners with daily tasks.
- Carry out basic repairs and general maintenance work as instructed.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from sites.
- Prepare work areas before tasks and clean up after completion.
- Dispose of waste materials safely and follow recycling procedures.
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate basic tools and construction equipment where required.
- Perform manual tasks such as lifting, digging, and fitting insulation.
- Keep records of work completed and materials used.
- Report hazards, damages, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Provide basic customer service when interacting with residents or clients.
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Understanding of Health & Safety practices in construction.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
- Valid CSCS Labourer Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Health & Safety Awareness Level 1 (can be completed during induction if not already held).
- Full valid UK/NI driving licence.
- Additional site certifications such as Asbestos Awareness (advantageous).
- Previous experience in construction or maintenance roles (preferred).
