PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour PAYE OR £16.00 Umbrella
JOB TYPE: Contract - 3 Months
LOCATION: Belfast & County Antrim (Various Sites), (BT15)
HOURS: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
THE ROLE: Main duties & responsibilities:
Support tradespeople such as plumbers, electricians, and joiners with daily tasks.
Carry out basic repairs and general maintenance work as instructed.
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from sites.
Prepare work areas before tasks and clean up after completion.
Dispose of waste materials safely and follow recycling procedures.
Follow all Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Operate basic tools and construction equipment where required.
Perform manual tasks such as lifting, digging, and fitting insulation.
Keep records of work completed and materials used.
Report hazards, damages, or equipment issues to supervisors.
Provide basic customer service when interacting with residents or clients.
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
Understanding of Health & Safety practices in construction.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
Valid CSCS Labourer Card (or willingness to obtain).
Health & Safety Awareness Level 1 (can be completed during induction if not already held).
Full valid UK/NI driving licence.
Additional site certifications such as Asbestos Awareness (advantageous).
Previous experience in construction or maintenance roles (preferred).
