PAY RATE: £ 280 per day CIS
JOB TYPE: 3 Months contract
LOCATION: Birmingham, UK (B44)
HOURS: 37:50 hours per week - 08:00 AM to 17:00 PM

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day roofing works across multiple social housing sites.
- Supervise subcontractors and site operatives to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with project programmes, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress against project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and health & safety documentation.
- Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and maintain productivity.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, residents, and other stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations throughout the project.
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager on construction projects.
- Experience managing roofing projects.
- Social housing experience preferred.
- Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle, as travel between multiple Birmingham sites is required.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Valid SMSTS certification.
- Valid First Aid certificate.
- Fire Marshal certification.
- Asbestos Awareness certification.
- Valid DBS check.
- Strong understanding of site health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Ability to manage multiple sites, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
